BIO

I'm a creative, inclusive and collaborative photographer working in Sussex, Hampshire & London. I’m here to help you with meaningful, original images for your family or brand. I have over 17 years' experience in digital and analogue photography, built alongside my previous career in architecture. I first started shooting friends’ bands as a teenager and later set up an online student magazine at university - mainly to secure photography passes for gigs! I am based in West Sussex, near the Hampshire border, and continue to spend time in London after 13 years of city life. I live with my husband and our zoo: four-year-old Pickle, Baby Spud and two nervous whippets.

APPROACH

I take an industrious and collaborative approach to shoots, supporting clients’ own ideas and finding creative ways to bring characters and creations to life. I love to work with friendly families and individuals for whom the work is personal, and enterprises making a positive impact with shared values. The process of hiring creative services can be mysterious, or even intimidating, so I aim to make professional photography accessible and stress-free with a transparent process, reasonable rates and fair terms.

“I’m super impressed. The photos look great! I love them. I cannot believe the vibe you were able to capture - I don’t remember feeling like that, but the images are quite powerful. Really, really happy.”

SERVICES

I take commissions for commercial or informal portraits; family or couples shoots; weddings; events; still life; product; lifestyle and spatial work. I can help with styling and direction during any shoot.

For studio work, I can provide a simple backdrop and lighting set-up or assist with finding a studio for hire. I can also organise or advise on printing, framing and photo books.

While most commissions are digital as standard, sometimes I'm hired especially for my experience with 35mm and Polaroid film. Could that gorgeous, low-fi haze bring the perfect edge to your brief? Roll film is sent to a professional lab for processing & scanning and I finish off with light digital retouching. I can estimate the costs in advance.

Gift cards are available too! A photography session makes a thoughtful and heartfelt gift for a friend’s business, a student’s project, growing families...

“Thank you so much for your gorgeous work! It's such a privilege to have great quality shots to market ourselves with. Everyone we've shown has loved them.”
