BIO

I'm a creative, inclusive and collaborative photographer working in Sussex, Hampshire & London. I’m here to help you with meaningful, original images for your family or brand. I have over 17 years' experience in digital and analogue photography, built alongside my previous career in architecture. I first started shooting friends’ bands as a teenager and later set up an online student magazine at university - mainly to secure photography passes for gigs! I am based in West Sussex, near the Hampshire border, and continue to spend time in London after 13 years of city life. I live with my husband and our zoo: four-year-old Pickle, Baby Spud and two nervous whippets.

APPROACH

I take an industrious and collaborative approach to shoots, supporting clients’ own ideas and finding creative ways to bring characters and creations to life. I love to work with friendly families and individuals for whom the work is personal, and enterprises making a positive impact with shared values. The process of hiring creative services can be mysterious, or even intimidating, so I aim to make professional photography accessible and stress-free with a transparent process, reasonable rates and fair terms.

“I’m super impressed. The photos look great! I love them. I cannot believe the vibe you were able to capture - I don’t remember feeling like that, but the images are quite powerful. Really, really happy.”

SERVICES

I take commissions for commercial or informal portraits; family or couples shoots; weddings; events; still life; product; lifestyle and spatial work. I can help with styling and direction during any shoot.
For studio work, I can provide a simple backdrop and lighting set-up or assist with finding a studio for hire. I can also organise or advise on printing, framing and photo books.
While most commissions are digital as standard, sometimes I'm hired especially for my experience with 35mm and Polaroid film. Could that gorgeous, low-fi haze bring the perfect edge to your brief? Roll film is sent to a professional lab for processing & scanning and I finish off with light digital retouching. I can estimate the costs in advance.
Gift cards are available too! A photography session makes a thoughtful and heartfelt gift for a friend’s business, a student’s project, growing families...

“Thank you so much for your gorgeous work! It's such a privilege to have great quality shots to market ourselves with. Everyone we've shown has loved them.”

BOOKING PROCESS & TERMS

You can ask me anything by dropping me an email! Browse my portfolio and stalk me on Instagram - if you think we could be a good fit, let’s get started...
We can start with a free, no-obligation video call to get to know each other and formulate your brief. The more information you can give, the better! How are you going to use your images? Do you have particular size or formatting requirements? Can you share examples of images you like? Do you want to create a book or prints? We'll think about key shots, outfits, props and poses in advance so we can get the most from your shoot.
I will provide a written fee proposal. All fees are calculated on a resource basis to cover travel, shoot, editing and administration time. I offer fixed fees for predictable or capped sessions.
The variable nature of commercial and project-based commissions means that I may submit a non-binding estimate and propose work on a time-charge basis, or propose a retainer arrangement. Rates are agreed in advance and I commit to ongoing communication. This allows flexibility in scope and approach to meet your unique needs.
Unforeseen or additional services are discussed and conducted on a time-charge basis. This can include client-driven changes in direction and additional briefing time. Expenses for travel, accommodation, studio hire, additional equipment costs, film & processing, books & prints, etc are fulfilled by the client or recharged at cost.

Bookings are secured upon written acceptance of fees and terms along with payment of a non-refundable deposit via BACS, later deducted from your closing invoice. Gifted sessions are invoiced in full up-front. I’ll send a booking reminder a week before our session.
Image selections and the scope of editing & retouching for delivery are at my discretion as the appointed artist. Clients may select their preferred professional headshots for editing. For events or very large image sets, I can share a preview of 5-10 images on a quick turnaround with the full gallery to follow on an agreed timescale. I currently do not guarantee or limit the number of digital images delivered. Final images are delivered in high- and low-resolution .jpg formats via an online link. I do not issue RAW files or otherwise unedited work. Please download and save your files promptly. I store files on a minimum of two drives during processing and commit to retaining files for 6 months after delivery.
Closing invoices may be submitted prior to our session or alongside delivery of images, depending on the nature of the project. This will be defined within your fee letter. No VAT is currently payable. Payment is due within 30 calendar days of invoicing via BACS. IBAN details can be provided for international transactions. Interest will be levied on overdue accounts. I cannot refund or accept refusal to pay charges for images that I deem to be technically sufficient to meet the client’s brief or standard session deliverables.
In the event of cancellation, no deposits or advance payments can be refunded. An invoice will be issued charging for outstanding time logged to date at the project’s hourly rate.
The photographer owns the copyright to all photographic works.
The commissioning client or gift recipient is granted unlimited use of the photographic images. Please credit me. Images may not be re-edited, or passed/sold on for use by third parties without notice. Third-party uses may incur payment of a license fee.
In order to develop my business, I reserve the right to publish photographs taken for portfolio and marketing purposes both on- and offline. Destinations may include and are not limited to my website(s), social media channels, brochures, flyers and other PDF materials and media submission. Please let me know if you particularly do or do not want to be named, tagged or otherwise identified.
Where the publication of facial images of minors (children under 18 years) or vulnerable people would pose a safeguarding risk in the view of their guardian or carer, I can discuss options for controlled or reduced photographer’s use of images.
Where commercial work forms part of a time-sensitive campaign, product or website launch, release dates for my uses must be agreed in advance of my appointment. Unforeseen extensions can be agreed subject to clear communication from the commissioning client, and in the absence of clear communication, I reserve the right to publish images three months from planned release dates.
I hold Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Equipment insurances with certification available on request.
Any queries on terms must be raised and necessary contractual adjustments made in advance of my appointment, after which no adjustments can be made.
Terms correct at September 2025 and subject to change.
“We can’t thank you enough. The as-shots already look great! Thank you so much for the quick turnaround”
